Toys with Roots has partnered with Shoprite Checkers in creating videos just under a minute for children and parents to learn a few basic words in isiZulu, isiXhosa and seSotho. This is a wonderful effort to try and establish an increased sense of togetherness as we celebrate this rich diversity that South Africa is about. Most of all, it is an effort to ensure that African children recognise the value of being able to converse in their own mother tongue.
